The Elizabeth Nash Foundation is managed by a board of directors, listed below, who serve without compensation.
Ann Nash (Elizabeth's mother)
Ann is the wife of Jim and the mother of Patrick, beloved Elizabeth, and Christine. She is also a Mathematics Professor, retired from Adirondack Community College, Queensbury, New York. Her education includes a Bachelors Degree from the College of Saint Rose and two Masters Degrees, one from Plattsburgh State University and another from SUNY Albany. Ann enjoys time with her family, travel, socializing, and outdoor activities.
Carolyn Nash (Elizabeth's sister-in-law)
Carolyn is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Red Hat. She joined the Red Hat team in 2016 from Cisco Systems where she was serving as Senior Director of Business Intelligence and Analytics. Carolyn earned a B.A. from Lehigh University and is also a Certified Public Accountant. Carolyn is the Financial and Donor Communications Manager for the Elizabeth Nash Foundation. She is also the mother of twins, Sydney and Sam. Carolyn’s outside interests include travel, running, biking and swimming.
Christine Nash (Elizabeth's sister)
Christine is a strategic advisor and Board member in the biopharma industry focusing on helping companies and investors seeking to bring new drugs to market to treat rare diseases like CF. Her most recent full time role was Chief Commercial Officer for Hyperion Therapeutics. Christine earned a BA in Public Policy and an MBA, both from Stanford University. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her husband and children, being outdoors, playing pickleball, and travel.
Patrick Nash (Elizabeth's brother)
After graduating from Boston College with a BA in mathematics, Patrick spent 5 years in Boston working in the banking industry. He then earned his MBA at the University of North Carolina before moving to California to work for Intel Corporation. He is married (Carolyn) and is the father of twins (Sydney and Sam). His interests include fatherhood, travel, skiing, history and basketball.
James Nash (Elizabeth's father)
Jim graduated from Siena College in ‘64 and spent most of his working career with the Barton Mines Corporation serving as President for 21 years. He is now retired. Jim and his wife, Ann, split their time between Cape Cod and the San Francisco Bay area, where their two children and four grandchildren live.
