Will - Benicia, California
Will is a first-year law student at UC Berkeley School of Law. He graduated magna cum laude from UCLA in 2019 with a degree in English and a minor in Philosophy. During his time at UCLA, Will was an editor for the UCLA Undergraduate Law Journal, and he published his own article in the Journal in 2019. He was also an active volunteer for his fraternity's philanthropy and with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation (CFF). Since graduating from UCLA, Will has worked as a paralegal and has been an active intern at the CFF's San Francisco chapter. Outside of the classroom, he enjoys playing basketball, reading, and playing chess. As a future lawyer, Will hopes to combine his passion for the law with his desire to help others to enact positive change.
Atticus - Frederick, Maryland
Atticus is a freshman at the University of Maryland, College Park majoring in Finance at UMD's Robert H. Smith School of Business. He participates in the Living-Learning Public Leadership Scholars Program and is in the audition process for the UMD marching band. He is considering a career in financial advising, as he is fascinated with finance and the economy. He would like to help people manage their finances, utilize money effectively, and therefore have more time and resources. In high school, he played quads in the drumline marching band and indoor percussion ensemble all four years. He was also a member of the swim and cross country teams and the National Honor Society. Outside of school, Atticus spent summers marching in an independent drum and bugle corps and played quads at the semi-professional level, while competing around the Pennsylvania/New Jersey area.
Else - Fairbanks, Alaska
Else is a freshman at the University of Puget Sound in Tacoma, Washington. She is in majoring in Healthcare Sciences with a minor in Violin Performance. Else has been an active participant in many clinical trials which have tested new medications to treat the underlying cause of CF. Her involvement in scientific research has inspired her to pursue a career in healthcare. Else has been studying violin for the past 15 years and has been a leader in numerous orchestras and ensembles in her hometown. During high school, she received multiple first place awards at the Alaska State Solo and Ensemble Music Competition and was accepted into the All-State and All-Northwest National orchestras. Else was also on the cross-country skiing and running teams. Outside of school, she enjoys working on her family’s farm and taking advantage of Alaska’s many outdoor opportunities, such as downhill skiing, hiking, biking, and camping.
Sean - Phoenix, Arizona
Sean completed his freshman year at Arizona State University and is proud to have made the Dean’s List for academic excellence in both semesters. Although he enjoyed his time at ASU, Sean could not be more excited with his transfer to his dream school, Belmont University, in Nashville, Tennessee. He is majoring in Commercial Music and aspires to have a career in the music industry. From a young age, Sean has spoken and sang at various fundraising and awareness events for Cystic Fibrosis. Throughout high school, he was an avid member of his school’s award-winning choir program and, as the head choreographer of his show choir he worked tirelessly to help create beautiful performances. Additionally, he was a four-year member of the North Central Regional Honor Choir, the Arizona All-State Honor Choir, and the Arizona All-State Honor Choir, and the Arizona All-State Show Choir. Besides music, Sean loves to travel, dance, and spend time with his friends and family.
Madeline - Mexico, Missouri
Madeline is a freshman at the University of Missouri - Columbia. She is majoring in Human Development and Family Science. Throughout high school she participated in various clubs and achieved many honors. She was the student body Secretary of her Student Council, a member of National Honors Society, an Academic Excellence Recipient, Vice President of Astra (a civic club), and an A+ Tutor. Madeline graduated with 32 college credits. In addition, she spent her time out of school advocating and raising money for the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and Children's Miracle Network. She has participated in hospital radiothons to raise money, held fundraising events, and served as a Children’s Miracle Network ambassador. Maddie was awarded the 2020 Glory of Missouri Charity award. She plans to further her educational endeavors to find a career that will provide a service to humanity, to give back to those who have aided in her success and to help others in need.

Miguel completed his general education at Antelope Valley College where he was on the President’s List both years and was a member of the Honors College. He is now attending UC Santa Barbara to earn a degree in Aquatic Biology and to gain experience working with aquatic life. Miguel is passionate about one of the ocean’s most misunderstood predators, sharks. He hopes to help in the conservation of these marine predators to preserve the fragile ecosystem of the ocean so that a major extinction event does not occur. Miguel recently co-authored a scientific paper about the rate at which American Coots spend time scanning for predators in their environments. The paper is scheduled for publication soon to a scientific journal. When not focused on his academics Miguel assists his father at his small business and exercises to maintain his health.
Eryn - Lakeside, California
Eryn is a freshman at Converse University in Spartanburg, SC planning to major in Biochemistry with a minor in Spanish. Eryn wants to work in the field of plant genetics conducting research to create and strengthen new plant varieties and crops. She would like to combat hunger and malnutrition in our world's growing population by working to improve plant size, production, and disease tolerance while being environmentally responsible. During the last four years Eryn has been active in her high school Agricultural department participating in sustainable farming from seed to harvest and learning about the impacts of food production and its importance on a community. Eryn competed in field hockey all four years of high school and was named Captain and League MVP her senior year. Converse University has accepted her as an incoming freshman player and she is excited about continuing her athletic career in college.
Jordan - Tempe, Arizona
Jordan is a freshman majoring in Architecture and Construction Management at Arizona State University. He was the lead architect and drafter for his high school team at the 2020 International Builders Show (IBS) in Las Vegas NV. Jordan’s team placed first in the Student Competition for Secondary Programs in the Architectural category. The panel of judges remarked that his team’s work surpassed that of college students. The team also took first place at the SkillsUSA regional competition. While Jordan was an outstanding architect throughout high school, that didn’t stop him from joining numerous clubs and participating on the Student Council. Jordan wants to be a innovator in architecture and construction in the building industry.
