Collaboration with The Adult CF Clinic at California Pacific Medical Center
The Elizabeth Nash Foundation has established a patient support program in collaboration with the staff
at the California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC) adult CF clinic. The program assists patients and their
families with certain unmet needs during hospitalization and helps to make their hospital stays less
isolating. To date, the Foundation has provided several types of items identified as key needs by the
clinic social worker and patients themselves. Examples of items provided include
- pre-paid phone cards to enable patients to stay in touch with family and friends and to contact
the clinic between visits
- pre-paid AMEX gift cards to buy supplemental snacks or order in a meal
- playing cards for entertainment
- a portable DVD player and portable CD player for CF patient use
If you have CDs or DVDs you'd be willing to donate to the CPMC patient support program, please mail
them to the foundation at the address listed below.
